What is Hifenac P Tablet used for?

Hifenac P is used for relieving pain and swelling in the body. It can be used to treat headache, toothache, lower back pain, migraine, and menstrual pain. It is used to treat bone diseases where the joints become painful, swollen and stiff such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. It can be given for pain relief after minor surgeries like tooth extraction.


How should I take Hifenac P Tablet?

Hifenac P should be taken orally as prescribed by your doctor and swallowed whole with water. Do not crush, cut, or chew the tablet. Take the tablet preferably with or after meals. Your doctor will prescribe the lowest dose for the shortest time possible to minimize the risk of side effects. Always complete the course and do not stop suddenly.

If you feel weak, do not drive and avoid handling heavy tools or machines. If the side effects do not subside, consult your doctor. Rarely, some people may get an allergy to the medicines and experience swelling of the face, mouth, throat, difficulty in breathing, severe itchy skin and rashes.
